Click for profile 		So. Now that it is Christmas (well, in Australia anyways) how did you go, haul wise.

This year was kinda shitty. Got the wrestling actions figures I wanted, only cause I was there when mum bought them, an old WWF book that I didnt think id ever read, and I got the RATM vinyl i wanted on eBay which was awesome. But none of the stuff I actually listed I got, such as the NOFX and Audioslave albums, or the Maddox books. Oh well. Mum enjoyed her photo of me and Mel and her beautyshop gift voucher, and dad enjoyed his Two Ronnies and Stargate DVD's

How did you all go?

Inactive It's only 6:30 pm on Christmas Eve here. I got a couple of things already today, like a pretty necklace and a Pocket PC and a gift certificate to this amazing restaurant, but we won't do our family presents until tomorrow.

I have absolutely no idea what any of my presents are because I didn't ask for anything.

My sister and I are a bit miffed though because she and I usually get some item of jewelry every year and my mom always gets the same thing for each of us and then gets something better for my brother's fiancee.

My mom gave me a Target purse meant to look like a Betsey Johnson purse.
It's still Christmas Eve though so I haven't opened my dad's presents or my brother's present.
Oh, and my grandma gave me 50 bucks.

Inactive Man I've already raked it in, because it's the tradition in my family to open all gifts from my grandparents & aunt/uncle/cousin while having a Christmas Eve buffet fest chez my grandparents, and this year I also opened the gifts from my sister.

So far:
- 2 big bottles of Dominican rum
- Body Shop tea tree swag
- box of Baci
- a watch
- 2 necklaces, 1 bracelet, 4 pairs of earrings
- a little bit of makeup and a makeup bag
- 2 photo albums pre-filled with pictures, prepared by my grandparents... beautiful
- loads of money in gift certificates and cash
- a new purse in a sort of khaki green with gold skull print
- a few little odds and ends

I also opened one thing from my mom, because I already knew what it was... it's a big handmade quilt, in black and white fabrics (a scheme that was my idea!) made by my mom. It is very eye catching. Smile

Tomorrow I open the rest of the stuff from my mom, and then eat loads of turkey!!

- The only two Red Dwarf books that I already own.
- V for Vendetta DVD. That I already own.
- Mighty Boosh Live.
- New Converse.
- GameCube and and Buffy game.
- Socks (you gotta have socks)
- Jack Daniels.
- Eye make up kit.

Thats pretty much it. I was happy with my little lot.

Also, I am NOT looking forward to dealing with my family. They kind of suck. They all sorts of suck. "Oh, you're a creative writing major? Write me a poem! Recite something for me!"

Recite? What am I, a fucking monkey? I'm getting to the point where I am going to write an explicit poem and read it to them with great vigor. And a smile. Always the smile.
